1. About LOKA

LOKA (“we,” “us,” or “our”) is a text-first fashion service that helps you discover who you are and uses that to evaluate clothing, accessories, and outfit ideas through conversational interactions over text messaging (Apple iMessage). By signing up for early access or using our service, you agree to these Terms & Conditions.

2. Eligibility

You must be at least 18 years old to use LOKA. By providing your information, you confirm that you meet this requirement and that the information you provide is accurate.

3. How the Service Works

LOKA operates as a conversational fashion stylist over text messaging. During onboarding you share your name, birth details, and phone number, and we generate an access code for you. You initiate conversations by texting us first with your access code. We respond with style guidance, outfit ideas, product comparisons, and purchasing suggestions based on your profile and requests. LOKA does not sell products directly. We provide recommendations and may link to third-party retailers where purchases can be completed.

4. Messaging Consent & Communication

By texting LOKA, you consent to receive conversational responses related to your style and shopping queries. We will only message you in direct response to your initiated conversations. We will never send unsolicited promotional messages, marketing blasts, or spam of any kind. You can stop communicating with LOKA at any time by simply not sending further messages. If you wish to be removed from our system entirely, contact us at the email below. Standard message and data rates from your mobile carrier may apply.

5. Data Collection & Privacy

We collect the following information when you sign up: your name, birth date, birth time (if known), birth location, and phone number. From your birth details we compute a style profile that we use to personalize recommendations. Your conversation history with LOKA is also retained so we can provide continuity across sessions and improve the quality of future responses. This data is used solely to provide and improve the LOKA service. We will never sell, rent, share, or disclose your personal information to third parties for their marketing purposes. Your phone number is used exclusively to deliver the LOKA service and is stored securely using industry-standard encryption.

6. Data Security

We use commercially reasonable security measures to protect your personal information, including encryption in transit and at rest, access controls, and secure cloud infrastructure. However, no method of electronic storage or transmission is 100% secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

7. Style Recommendations

LOKA provides style guidance and product recommendations based on available information and AI analysis, including your stated preferences and a style profile computed from the birth details you share. Recommendations are for informational and inspirational purposes only and do not constitute professional, medical, psychological, or astrological advice. We do not guarantee the accuracy, completeness, or suitability of any recommendation. Purchasing decisions are made at your own discretion and risk. We are not responsible for the quality, safety, sizing, fit, or fulfillment of products purchased from third-party retailers.

8. Intellectual Property

All content, branding, technology, and materials associated with LOKA are our intellectual property or licensed to us. You may not copy, modify, distribute, or create derivative works from our service without prior written consent.

9. Limitation of Liability

LOKA is provided “as is” without warranties of any kind. To the maximum extent permitted by law, we disclaim all warranties, express or implied. We are not liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of the service, including but not limited to losses from product purchases made based on our recommendations.

10. Account Termination

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate access to LOKA at our discretion, including for violations of these terms, abusive behavior, or any use that may harm the service or other users.

11. Changes to Terms

We may update these terms from time to time. Continued use of LOKA after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated terms. Material changes will be communicated through the service.

12. Governing Law

These terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of Delaware, United States, without regard to conflict of law provisions.
